Khaled Karri is a Syrian multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker based in Rome. His practice moves across food performance, moving image, installation, and participatory storytelling, exploring memory, displacement, survival, identity, and belonging. He is the founder of Makan Artfood, an artistic platform through which food becomes a medium for collective experience and cultural dialogue. By transforming the shared table into a performative space, Karri invites audiences to move beyond spectatorship and become active participants in the work.
